Ducky One 2 best keyboard? Is it amazing or just simply the best keyboard ever…
By far the greatest addition to my PC was the Ducky One 2 Mini. Made by Ducky themselves, is the Ducky One 2 best keyboard? Let us find out. It is a wonderful upgrade from the original mini that came out a while ago. When I first got a look at this keyboard I thought that it would be too small and hard to play games on, but I was definitely wrong about that. Ducky makes really good products and I have been satisfied with this one more than I intended to be. Some of the other keyboards that they sell like the Ducky One 2 RGB Full, and the Ducky Shine 7 are also really amazing boards as well. Let’s go over some more in-depth details about the board like features, size, user-friendliness, durability, and most of all the packaging.
The Ducky One 2 Mini features consists of
- The brand new bezel design
- PBT double-shot seamless keycaps
- German-made Cherry MX key switches
- Three-level adjustable feet
- USB Type-C cable
- 60% size and extremely portable
- Additional colorful keycaps that come in random colors
- Don’t forget about the wonderful year of the dog space bar keycap
- Length: 11.875 in.
- Width: 4.25 in.
- Lvl 1 foot – 1.5 in.
- Lvl 2 foot – 1.625 in.
- Lvl 3 foot – 2 in.
First, the software for this keyboard is completely optional which for me is a big deal because I do not like having separate software for my mouse and keyboard. Even more, the board features RGB lights that can be changed with different variations of key presses that make it easy to switch from color to transitions of colors. For me, when looking for a keyboard, I wanted to find one that would fit my desk size. Since the keyboards I had in the past were wide and bulky, it lead me to make the decision on this board. The Ducky One 2 mini is so small you could just pack it up in anything and hit the road, which comes in handy if you are going to tournaments and such.
In addition to all the other great things about the board. One of the things about the keyboard that could be changed is that the keyboard chassis is plastic. Nevertheless, this was a buy or not buy for some people, so I felt like it was worth mentioning since this is one of the cons that I listed in the review. Additionally, I have never had a problem with the board having a plastic chassis. If this is not a problem for you then, by all means, pick one up.
Lastly, the packaging was fun and exciting. Everything in the box was completely secure and organized. For that reason, I gave packaging a good overall rating because I think it shows the company cares a great deal about the product they are sending. Ducky One 2 Mini comes with the board, c-type cable, extra fun keycaps, keycap puller, and lastly, the manual. I think the most fun was when I opened it up and started to rearrange the keycaps to my liking.
